Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the most common queries our customers have asked.  If you can't find an answer to your query then please don't hesitate to contact us.

Q. Do you need to see me in person?
A. No, because we understand how busy your life is these days, we do not need to meet you in person.  We do however require a secure contact telephone number in order to liaise with you throughout the process.

Q. What happens after I place my order?
A.
Once we receive your order and have gathered all relevant information from you, we shall prepare a draft of CV.  We will normally email and then call to review with you, we want to ensure we get it absolutely right before sending the final version and closing your order.

Q. Why does the charge vary with each level of service?

A. Our fees are predominantly charged for consultancy time.  We have structured our service levels to reflect both the service level required by our customers and the amount of work involved in both communications and producing documents. For instance, a school leavers CV will vary greatly in size and content to say that of a Qualified Accountant.  Our quality will, however, remain the same for each level.

Q. How should I pay?
A. Payment is via our on our online secure system or by cheque (cash should not be sent in the post).

Q. When should I pay?
A. We require payment when you place your order with us.  Work on orders cannot commence until cleared funds have been received.

Q. Why do you take payment in advance?
A.
We aim to retain our customers, providing updates and further help when required. We feel that having to chase customers for outstanding payments would de-value this relationship greatly.  Receiving payment in advance also eliminates any bad debts and helps to keep our overheads and therefore, our charges to you, as low as possible!

Q. How long does it take to get my draft CV?
A.
We usually operate on a first come, first served basis but you should expect a draft within 3 - 5 days (sooner if possible) of ordering.  Express Service ensures you are priority over standard applications.

Q. How many copies do I get?
A. You will receive 3 bound copies of your new CV.  Further copies are available from Additional Options page.

Q. What type of paper do you use?
A. We use high quality 100 gsm paper in white and black (window) binding covers.

 Q. How many pages will my CV be?
A. Depending on length of experience, qualifications etc, your CV may require 2 to 3 pages.  It will very much depend on our consultants' opinion, your personal circumstances and other factors - but as a rule between 1 and 2 pages is generally acceptable.

 Q.  Are you able to find me employment?

A.  No, whilst we are happy to discuss certain areas of recruitment with you, we are not involved in the actual recruitment process. Our service provides documents

to aid you when applying for positions either directly or with a recruitment agency.

Q. What if I am not satisfied with your service?
A.
You will be!  Only when you confirm your satisfaction with the draft documents will we proceed and we shall spend as much time as necessary with you to achieve this.
