Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most common queries my customers have asked. If you can't find an answer to your query then please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Q. Do you need to see me in person?
A. No, because I am an internet company and I understand how busy your life is these days. I do however require a secure contact telephone number in order to liaise with you throughout the process.
Q. What happens after I place my order?
A. Once I receive your order and have gathered all relevant information from you, I'll prepare a draft of CV. I will email and then call to review with you, I want to ensure we get it absolutely right before sending the final version and closing your order.
Q. Why does the charge vary with each level of service?
A. My fees are predominantly charged for my time. I have structured it to reflect both the service level required by our customers and the amount of work involved in both communications and producing the documents. For instance, a school leavers CV will vary greatly in size and content to say that of a Qualified Accountant. The quality will, however, remain the same for each level.
Q. How should I pay?
A. Payment is via our on our online secure system.
Q. When should I pay?
A. I will require payment when you place your order with us. Work on orders cannot commence until cleared funds have been received.
Q. Why do you take payment in advance?
A. I aim to retain my customers, providing updates and further help when required. Therefore, I feel that having to chase customers for outstanding payments would de-value this relationship greatly. Receiving payment in advance also eliminates any bad debts and helps to keep my overheads and therefore, charges to you, as low as possible!
Q. How long does it take to get my draft CV?
A. I operate on a first come, first served basis but you should expect a draft within 3 - 5 days (sooner if possible) of standard ordering. Express Service ensures you are priority over standard applications.
Q. How many copies do I get?
A. You will receive 3 bound copies of your new CV. Further copies are available from Additional Options page.
Q. What type of paper do you use?
A. High quality 100 gsm paper in white and usually black (window) binding covers.
Q. How many pages will my CV be?
A. Depending on skills relevance, length of experience, qualifications etc, your CV may require 2 to 3 pages. It will very much depend on my consultation with you, your personal circumstances and other factors - but as a rule between 1 and 2 pages is generally the accepted norm.
Q. Are you able to find me employment?
A. No, whilst I am happy to discuss certain areas of recruitment with you, I am not involved in the actual recruitment process.
Q. What if I am not satisfied with your service?
A. You will be! Only when you confirm your satisfaction with the draft documents will I proceed and I shall spend as much time as necessary with you to achieve this.
